Segment II Classes
Registration for 2026 winter and spring classes
at St. Joe High School and Dowagiac High School
will be available soon!
 

Segment II Requirements

  • Driving Log (phone app or hard copy)

    • Thirty (30) hours of supervised driving ​with a licensed adult

      • Two (2) hours must involve night environment​

  • Must have held Level 1 license for           three (3) consecutive months from date of issuance

Segment II Format

  • Six (6) hours of classroom instruction 

    • ​In-person ​with a certified instructor​

  • Written Test

    • Provided by the State of Michigan​

    • Given on the last day of class 

    • 20 questions, multiple-choice format

    • Minimum passing score = 70%
