Registration for 2026 spring and summer classes
at St. Joe High School and Dowagiac High School
is now available!
Segment 2 Requirements

Driving Log (phone app or hard copy)
-
Thirty (30) hours of supervised driving ​with a licensed adult
-
Two (2) hours must involve night environment​

Must have held Level 1 license for three (3) consecutive months from date of issuance
Segment 2 Format

Six (6) hours of classroom instruction

​In-person ​with a certified instructor​

Written Test
-
Provided by the State of Michigan​
-
Given on the last day of class
-
20 questions, multiple-choice format
-
Minimum passing score = 70%
